Nutscene® Heritage Jute Twine is an iconic craft twine produced in the County of Angus, Scotland, where it has been manufactured for generations. Each spool is still wound on original machinery dating back to around 1922, preserving the traditional methods that have made Nutscene a trusted name in jute twine for more than 90 years.
Made from biodegradable jute sourced from sustainable plant based materials, this twine is both durable and environmentally friendly. The Heritage range is available in a beautiful palette of 22 colors, making it perfect for a wide variety of projects in the garden, kitchen, classroom, or craft room.
Each spool is approximately 10 cm (4 inches) tall and contains about 110 meters (360 feet) of strong three ply jute twine. The spool is designed to dispense from the center, helping prevent tangling and making it easier to work with while crafting.
Presented with a label reproduced from Nutscene’s 1940 archives, this classic spool reflects the brand’s long history of quality and craftsmanship. The twine is plant based, vegan friendly, and biodegradable. Please note that colors may naturally fade if exposed to strong sunlight over time.
